Genting with the boyf was all about
slack, sleep, watch movie and a
Man U v.s Liverpool match,
eat and
drink.
Even our plans to try out our luck at the casino was slightly messed up by our lack of preparation in appropriate attire.
So our every single activity was to do with eating. No kidding.
We even woke up as early as 5.45am because I was tempted by the Genting Hotel's buffet breakfast that starts at 5.30am.
Amazing, aint we? (:
Maybe because of that meal or whatever reason, I started having red itchy bumps on my neck and body. Happily thinking it was by big fat mosquitoes in our room or some heat rash, the boyf hurried me to bathe and go back to sleep after our half hearted breakfast.
And woohoo, when i woke up, my ears were red and swollen and i could not turn my neck. My body was covered with red rashes and large bumps and my face looked like a bloated luo han yu. Thankfully, i brought my cap to hide my bulging forehead.
Went to see a doctor and had an injection and thank god, it went away in 2 hours (: Though it came back to haunt me the very night i returned to Singapore for my dearest bestie's bday, I was glad i was not pestered by the hives for a good half day.
But apart from all, it was an awesome weekend getaway from the hot weather and the monotonous work-life. I still find it appalling that I actually forgot how cold the weather can be in Genting when it rains. And i am proud to survive despite the fact that all i brought were shorts and tank tops with one pathetic 3/4 sleeved cardigan.
/post edit-justified ramblings of a specific incident removed/But to end this post well and nice, here's some random photos of the trip to sum it all up.
