Been busy trying to tie up the loose ends before work officially starts tomorrow.
Yes, the dreaded tomorrow.
My sis is singing "It's sunday!" in joy because now, i am in with her on the suffering.
i have such an evil sister!
Not to mention Char who smsed me, to enjoy monday blues!
Look, my boyf has an evil sister too!
She's having her first flight out on Wed, and i am excited for her!! (:
anyway, here's one of the things i was busy with:

My gorgeous red sofa
( with unmatched old floral curtains )!
The one that I single-handedly assembled on my own.
Unassisted at all.
And it was not an easy job since I stand at a pathetic height of 1.565m and have to hold up some longer and heavier than me!
But still, I DID IT (:
Sad to say, it was after two attempts.
This was how it looked like when the sofa package came.

This was what i thought was a completed sofa, and then i recalled there was not supposed to be any gap in between the backing and the seat.

OMG I STUPIDLY made a mistake from Step One and now i have to unscrew ALL the screws and RE-ASSEMBLED everything all by myself! ):
there goes my over-one hour of effort and poor red and swollen fingers! ):
And here's a picture before dad helped me with the sofa-cover. (:

YAYNESS!
Love this sofa but i am missing my table very much.

Goodbye good-old tables that stood by us for more than 12 years (:

CHUNG CHENG MAIN BAZAAR BY THE LAKE.
Being back to the place that evokes SO many memories, most definitely being FUNNY and happy (:
But it was really kind of upset to see so many changes made to the school compound.
New, bigger but definitely not better. Even the lake does not look as pretty anymore ):
Especially when it flooded and even at 2pm, the flood has yet to subside fully.

It was upsetting to know that they threw away ALL the preserved stuff in the old biology lab, instead of keeping it in another room as archives!
I mean, seriously, at least donate it to a museum!
BEST PART was being able to be far away from the crowd, sitting on 4th floor parapets enjoying the breeze.
This was where we were caught by a D&T teacher and the news was broadcasted the next day during morning assembly.
Hilarious and extremely memorable (:
TPY, you really should be there with us! (:

AND we also found out another secret.
CHEETAT's EXTREME fear of heights!

Trust me. It took PLENTY of persausion (even from his GF) to convince him to climb up and more than more than 5 attempts to succeed. HAHAHAHA. thats another funny thing to add on to the memories there. (:
It was also SO nice visiting our old school together and finally getting to see our Sec 1 Form Teacher, Mr Ambert Khoo (Fondly known as Khoobert to us). He sadly does not really remember my name because I was not one of those who caused him much worry unlike the other naughty two (:
hahaha but still YAY we found him (:
Jo posted this saying on FB, and if not for her, i probably will not remember this.
Something that our ex-principal used to say ALL the time, but we never really take it to heart.
"Today, I am proud of Chung Cheng. Tomorrow, Chung Cheng will be proud of me."Now, i find it true.
ending off with a photo i really
♥ ! (:
