am i that boring?

i was waiting with my friend at the platform for the mrt to arrive.

and i was asking him why he was playing around, balancing himself on the pop up features on the floor.

he said he did that because he was bored.

and of course, a normal person's reaction will tell him to talk to me right!

apparently, his rebute was "what u expect me to talk to you about? you dont club; ask you to go for late night supper, you dont go; you need to accompany your mum."

seriously he got me thinking about that conversation.

i mean just because
  1. i am not a frequent clubber
  2. dislike going for suppers too often (especially when it requires some form of effort and energy when it involves people that are not that close)
  3. need to accompany my mum when EVERY single one of my family apart from me is overseas

and that makes me a boring person?

correct me if i am wrong, i may like to do nothing or laze around at times, but that does not qualify me as someone that boring to even talk to. and truth to speak, i do think at times i may be able to hold an interesting conversation than he does.

to be honest, i am really quite pissed/hurt by what he says. especially when we have been working together for the past 2 years.

i do understand that guys are insensitive at times, but to be this nonchalant especially when jinzhen and i always remind him to be more careful with his words, i cant ignore it.
