The decision to move out of hall
Sunday, January 03, 201011:07 PM
Moving out.

Or not.

I was almost 95% sure I will be moving out of hall.

Because school (for me) only starts in Feb due to my attachment. (*@*%#%*#*$@@^$*&)

And I have been paying for one month of hall fees for nothing.

and will be paying for one more un-stayed month.

apart from that, my m'sian roomie is moving out and most probably a vietnamese new roomie will be allocated to my room.

But yet,

there is the travelling part to think of. there is the less freedom to think of. there is the travelling to fyp mates' house (who happen to be in yew tee and sembawang) to think of. there is the adaption to non-hall life to think. I mean i have been staying in hall for the past 2.5 years. and to me, school has always been a 7 minutes walk away. Not a 1 h 45mins to 2 hours journey.

I do not have to pack a set of casual wear to change after formal presentations. I
do not have to be so upset and frustrated if my prof suddenly cancels our classes without informing us, causing a wasted trip. I
can rush back to hall to get anything i left behind for classes. A
nd to speak the truth, I wonder how weird it is to be at home when i have classes the next day, instead of having dinner with friends and hanging out in other people's room.
And oh gosh, so much more.

Sigh.

Plus both Sis and Dad very much prefer me to be staying in hall. (Hmm and i think reason being: Sis will like to have her own private time/room for the last few months. hahahaha.)
