Just came back from Forensic Science. which is the probably the only interesting mod i am taking this semester.
and we had a guest speaker with us today who is a forensic pathologist.
SOOOOO many gruesome photos were shown. it was just... way too much for me to take it.
Indeed, I love watching CSI, and am not really grossed out by them performing autopsy on dead bodies. Well, probably subconsciously, I do know that these are just makeup and props, and not real life cases.
But those shown in the lecture, are 100% solid evidence and true cases.
Many of us were squirming in our seats from the hundreds of photos taken of different murders/deaths.
And to me, the worst photo ever, was not the one about decapitation, multiple body parts, laceration, trans-sexuals(most males rank this the most shocking photo) or decomposition.
It was the one where Huang Na's body was shown. And how it was wrapped up and squeezed to fit into the box that the murderer used to transport her body. Maybe it was the fact that i seen her in papers, looking the way a sweet 8 year old child should be. And yet what I saw was just a naked red bruised and bloated body hugging her legs with her hands.
I am just glad that Took was hanged and is probably serving his jailtime in hell now.

FYP very very official 1st meeting has finally started. after so many days of procrastination and attempts to fit in a meeting with Prof's busy schedule.
Well, it was only today did it hit on me that we are dedicating 2 entire semesters on a project that is economics based and not finance which is what 3 of us are majoring in. I really hope this is not a wrong move that we made when we chose this prof.
After all, economics is definitely far from being my best subject AND interest. ): there was a reason why i dropped it in JC and given my first grade B in Year 1.
Still, I am very much excited to get started. If only i can skip those crazy amount of readings. This semester is going to be taxing.
Apart from the complaints, my final hall committments (apart from post FOC GL committments) Hall Production will be coming to an end this friday. So woohoo to keeping myself in the room in front of my computer and doing my FYP readings and disgusting derivatives.
Btw, have I mentioned my new room mate, a Malaysian who was randomly allocated to me, told me that I am very hardworking? ((((((((((((((((((((:
Yes, cheap thrill. haha but whatever.
