Summing up my first year in NBS

My first year of university life just flew past. Faster than any period of life stage i ever went through. ): I feel myself growing AND looking alot older. When the next semester starts, the term senior instead of freshie will be tagged to me. Ohman, and that sounds really old.
Exams are finally over and so Jianing, Diana, Beeteng and I went for a mini-celebration cos we are too tired to do much stuff. And sadly we ended up in nowhere else but "good" old JP. But it was great fun posing for the camera in Toy R'Us :P Modules took this semester: Organisational Behaviour -It sucks, like really bad. especially with my tutor with extremely high expectations who promised all her classes at the very least a B+ with majority scoring As in the beginning of the sem, but gave majority a B and B+. The difference between an A and a B is like Heaven and Hell. Okay i maybe exaggerating abit, but then again its my freedom of speech and judgement is based on my perspective. (: Marketing - Despite many late nights, hu and frustating moments with all the TOWS and 4Cs in our projects, i truly like this module. Hahaha! I have to admit it may be cos i was with my lovely coursemates and YES, we got A+ for both our project and case study. (:   Statistics & Quantitative Methods - Apparently there is sufficient evidence to prove that the statement made by people in JC about C Maths is completely redundant in the future at alpha=0.05. - Evidence: We are studying it in NBS but at MUCH MUCH tougher level. Economics - The law of diminishing returns sums it all. Pyschology - Tell you a secret. I still lack the ability to read your mind, not have i mastered the way to use retrieval cues to recall theoretical stuff for exams. But i have gained some knowledge on why certain people will think and act this way. And its really interesting. (:
 and the slippers they have there is SO cute! =D And i was that shameless to pose with it even though there were many people around. 
 It fell on a Sunday, so we went to eat Crystal Jade XiaoLongBao.  *slurp* love the xiaolongbao and see how greedy somebody is to steal half of my share of noodles! *grins* okay lah, i gave him half willingly.End of my first year being a undergraduate, and yet many of my friends out there are officially graduating soon. ): Next sem, there will no longer be any study room gang. Fiona will be in Norway doing her exchange program. The rest are off to the real working society. I will miss my vertical neighbour Wayne's nonsensical rubbish and lameness. I will miss poking my head into Zhenhao's room just to chit chat. I will miss having my sister as my roomie, her presence made hall feel almost like home. I will miss Fiona's whining and her constant cravings for all except vegetables= FREE ADD ON vegetables for every single meal with her HAHA. I will miss evan's auntie-ness whenever she and my sis switched on their zi-high mode. All the best to everyone! |
