A peaceful Xmas, and yet another VERY peaceful New Year Eve's celebration.

While others went for the countdown at VivoCity or at Marina Bay, we headed to Li San's house for an overnight mahjong session, which started off pretty badly because one of our beloved players CT only arrived at 1+am. How can we play if we are lacking of one player! So we were busy online shop-browsing and played monopoly till he came.
And while others cheered, danced and hugged each other to welcome the New Year, all we did was mumbled "Oh. Happy New Year!" when they count downed on TV.
It was my first time playing mahjong in which the players zha hu so many times!! But Observant Me did not make the same mistake as them heh heh. And so even though i only won twice throughout that 4+ hours, I was the overall winner HAHA!
A wonderful start to a New Year and a terrific end to an agonising 2007. =D
Working out at 6am in her room was madness, now when I think back. Lisan and Cedrick were fast asleep shortly after I finished exercising haha. Joanne failed to keep her promise to stay awake throughout, when she was the one who insisted on doing so. *tsk tsk*

A special note to Chee Tat: Remember our chat last night. All we want is for you to be happy.


On a lighter note, we were the last two survivors! (: The rest gave up, but we did not! ------------------------------------------------


I dont know why but it's hard to believe we are in the year of 2008. I never really have such a strong feeling about moving on to the next year, but this year has been exceptionally short and I seriously feel OLD. Yes, i am probably offending those older than me, but I really think I have aged quite a bit this year, and definitely too much for my liking.

Well, met up with PY together with Jo for dinner at M.O.F! Okays not exactly dinner for me, cos all i had was mochi dessert. And no, I was trying to cut down on but because I had an extremely heavy meal with Shaun just an hour before and then I still gei kiang wanna try the dessert store at Marine Parade despite knowing I was having dinner real soon. What did I end up with? A bulging tummy which was freaking obvious to me! =( But yet, my cravings were satisfied! =)
