Hall 7 Camp

Survivor Breakfree Camp ended on Sunday early morning, with clubbing at Double O being the last activity. I am now alot tanner(which sucks), have an injured wrist, and many new wounds. I went to camp without any slight excitement, but went home not regretting that i joined the camp. (: My OG won the best OG!! and my OGL won the best OGL! happy!
okays lots of things happened within this 7 days.
the whole theme revolves around us freshies trying to break free from our prison. so there were interrogations, mafia groups, policemen and prison life experiences throughout the camp.
the most unforgettable was definitely the 22hour long Amazing Race game called The Great Escape which we raced against the other 3 teams from NTU all the way to Changi. The guys estimated we ran for at least 24km throughout the night when we had no public transport. and thats excluding the distance we ran in the afternn and morning. It was SUPER hiong till the extent of feeling like giving up with every single step u take, even walking hurts so badly. We started off being the last group, and managed to chase all the way to being the first! :) so u can imagine how much we ran, just to catch up. it was madness. 8 hours of pure running without any transport was deadly and drained out all the energy, the desire to win was the only thing we held on to. But i enjoyed it nonetheless. Missed out on the Gmax which was one of the stations, but my friend and i swore we will try it one day. sobs, but it will have to wait till i feel rich enough to spend 25bucks for a 2 mins ride.
Ultimate Beach Challenge was a killer too. Gave everyone a sunburn and i had many bruises and abrasions due to it. Running on sand is damn tough. Being the skinniest in my team(okay i lied. there was another girl who looks thinner, but she is alot less sporty haha) , i had to be the first to play in one of the stations cos we were supposed to dig a hole on the beach and squeezed and wriggled ourselves under a metal pole. So i had to go first to sort of open up the hole for the rest. If it was only one metal pole, it would be fine. but there were three. Thus i ended up with lots of cuts on both knees and elbows. :( damn sad!
Fright Night was at OCH. But because the police raided the area, we had to leave the place. so unluckily only my og missed out the fun. We just had to walk through in a big group, instead of walking in fours and being scared by seniors dressed up as ghosts. haha, so my ogl's plans to scare hum ji me failed! :)
there were many couple games, but not as disgusting as those cindi played at her sports camp. Played the usual "pass the poker card using ur mouth" game and stupidly dropped the cards twice. So yah our lips were in contact, which sucks more cos the whole bus were cheering. The worst was just lying on top of the guy and passing a banana through our mouths. But i was too darn freaking tired to care if my photo was being taken. Games i hate the most involved us spitting milo powder, condensed milk, malt, starch and blah blah blah into a potty and having to eat up what we spat. damn gross to eat everyone's saliva, i really felt like vomiting cos you can see saliva dripping out of people's mouths when they spat out the food. Another game was having to roll in the mud at night. i really felt like i was having a mud mask. haha
fell sick during the camp and missed out alot of fun. Initiation was really tough cos was too giddy after eating the medicine and still have to be blindfolded for like 6hours throughout while u get tekan-ed like mad by the seniors. They threw LOTS of wet sticky starch on you, commanded u to do silly cheers and stuff throughout the whole process. and all we could do is just obey. But it is a tradition for freshies to undergo in order to be considered juniors.
candlelight dinner with Secret Pal was kinda stupid, our dates even had to go up to our room to fetch us to the courtyard lols. so i spent most of the time stoning at the table, cos my international SP was abit of a bore. People pitied me, but i din really care cos it was not as if i was looking for a bf. haha. I prefer my current status "single but unavailable"!
realised you can tell who is a bastard and who is a nice guy from clubbing. some will force you to drink half a jug after losing one round, others will stop them from doing so. some will dance very near you, others will edge away guys who were eyeing us and form a border around us as a form of protection. :)
played many interesting and cute games. learnt so many hokkien and ultra cute songs. met new friends, but mostly from engineering. learnt alittle more about hall politics. really hope i din offend the pageant committee after rejecting to join, and that i din drag my sis down too much. sorry k, jie. really din know what i said will affect you.
cant really remember all the incidents that happened. but yeah i enjoyed myself overall.
school is starting tomorrow! please please bless me with good friends! :)
