out with dearest nadiah, upholding our promise to meet at least once in every 6 months.
i think i look taller in this photo! yay!
had a nice fulfilling lunch and off to esplanade for some photo-taking with a hint of "artistic" feel in it.
*yum yum*

being a very nice and loyal friend, i accompanied cheetat to buy his tent so that he can camp with us on saturday night. BUT this guy who set the meeting time, was actually late by 50mins. haiyo! how can right? so anyway, we ended up eating this.
ULTRA SINFUL SUNDAE!
and then 100g of my fav Famous Amos choc chips cookies.
i got a strong feeling he is trying to make me fat. cos i dont see him pyschoing san and jo to buy food. then again, maybe its just me. i succumb to temptations too easily, especially when u are standing just outside the shop, taking in the strong aroma of the oh-so-marvellous cookies. boohoo, i dont wanna gain weight!
then once again, being a super nice and loyal friend, i accompanied jo to choonfu's house for a bday celebration bbq. one thing i have to say is his condo is really nice!! it was not as awkward as i thought it would be after we offered to cook haha. but i will prefer if jo's beloved bf din keep on suaning me about u-know-who. seriously all this suanings about u-know-who have been gg on for 7 years, WHY does not it stop?! sighhh.
anyway, we had our virgin leisure Camping Night!! which was ermm.. i would say one that showcases our high resilience level and survivor skills we learnt from Npcc. Out of sooo many nights, we actually managed to choose one that falls on the night that had THE heaviest downpour i had seen this year. GREAT JOB man! holding on to strong beliefs that the rain will not last for more than an hour, we persevered and stayed in the tent, while trying to prevent water from seeping in. i actually managed to fill two Heineken beer bottles with rain water just by squeezing muddy rainwater using tissues. yes, the supposedly waterproof tent was not doing its job very well. and then the rain got bigger. AND BIGGER, so before we wait for the water level in our tent to rise to 4-5 cm( no kidding, it was really that high according to san when they went back to unpitch the tent), we scuffled to a nearby sheltered area and shivered in the cold with our wet clothes on while enduring the constant attack of rain from the sides due to the strong wind for the rest of the morning.
pretty right? :)
SORRY Tan Li San for having to spend ur bday celebration this way. BUT at least this is one bday celebration you will not forget right? *grins*
all thanks to a piping hot Mac breakfast, i felt tonnes better after that. but boohoo, still fell sick in the end. :( think i am really kinda weak after the lack of exercise since jc days. tomorrow will be a stay-at-home day!
but well, only with them will i ever have such an interesting experience, so it was considered fun and memorable after all. :)
- i am still drying and cleaning both tents, with the help of my lovely parents, my garden and the sun :) - Labels: food, friends, telletubbies, yay
