Death is so unpredictable
Wednesday, April 18, 200712:42 AM
Clara’s dog Lassie passed away, due to kidney failure. It was just too sudden to hear of the news. I don’t get to see Lassie often, but yet I can never forget how energetic she always is around people and how she always refused to obey Clara’s command to stop licking us. She never once barked at any of us. Even on the very first day I met her, I was greeted with a wagging tail.

The last time I met her was TJC’s pet day. Looking all so cute and adorable, and so lively. Now without any warning, she is gone. She is quite old, but yet I really din expect her to leave so early.

Goodbye Lassie, the most lovable dog I ever met. (: Take it easy, Clara.

Suddenly reminded of my grandfather who passed away a year plus back. I remembered I ran out of the canvas tent bawling like mad the moment I saw his body still wrapped in plastic. Talking about him now is a lot easier; at least I don’t cry the moment I mention about him. Just thinking that he is no longer suffering in pain from all the major surgeries he had, makes it easier to let go.

- an unplanned meet up at toa payoh makes my day- (:
